Product Options
If a product has a number of qualities which differ, then use “product options”. For each product, it is possible to add up to 3 options. Product options can vary in color, size, material, season, age, etc. Options may be used to display the original product or a property. For example, a product belonging to adults or children; watch assemblies: with a strap, without a strap.
Adding Options
For each product, you can add up to 3 options.
1. In the product editing card, click on the "add option" link.
2. Type a new value, such as "Sizes" and press "Enter".
After adding a new option, you'll be able to add versions of the product.
Editing Options
To enter the list of options, click on the "add option" link. To edit an option, use the pencil icon.
To save the option click ok.
Untranslated Options
The following options are possible: If you use several languages on your web site. If the option is shown in light gray in another language, it means that this option has not been translated into the language in which you are editing product. Use the pencil icon to translate. If everything is successful, the option will turn black.
Deleting a Product Option from a Product Card
To delete a product option from the product, use the cross icon that appears next to the option you want to delete. The option will be deleted only for the product that you are editing including all the product variations/variants. This deletion will not affect other products in the database.
Deleting Options from the Database
Log into the list of options through the link add option. By using the Recycle Bin icon, the option will be fully removed from the database. This means it will be deleted also for all the other products in your online store, where it was used. Use the deletion very carefully!
Product Variants
If the same product has a variety of sizes, colors or other options, you can create and save variants of the product.
Variants of the product card appear as a list. If the product does not have variants, it appears in the list as one line where you enter the product basic information.
Adding a Variant
To add a product variant, you must add at least one product option. Click on the link "add variant", and a new row will appear on the list where you can enter a new product variant data.
For each product variant you can:
- upload images for the purchaser to see the product variant shape or color differences;
- specify the code of the variant that must be unique in the entire database;
- setup price, sale price, and cost;
- indicate the weight and volume for supply calculation;
- note the balance of the product in stock, which will automatically be renewed at the moment of purchase or return;
- specify value of option for the customer to choose and buy the right product variants.
Editing of Variant
To activate fields for entering, move the cursor on the top of option that you want to edit. After editing click save.
Deletion of a Variant
Check one or more than one variants on the list of, and menu will open automatically. Press the "delete", and checked variants will be deleted.
