Do you know what a "keyword" is and how it can help to find on the Internet exactly what you offer?

For those customers who do not know the address of your website, it is important that you use keywords in the titles and descriptions of your products and help them to find your products and services on the Internet.

Keywords are words and phrases that are used to associate your products with words that users use in their search. To be sure your products show in search when users are looking for your product or service on the Internet, the words that you choose in your product titles should match the words or phrases that users are looking for.

GOOD Example
If you repair tires in San Diego you can use the keyword "tire repair in San Diego" in the name of your service. When people search "tire repair in San Diego", your service may appear on the search results page. Try to imagine what people are searching when they need your services. Tire repair. Where? In San Diego. You offer tire repair in San Diego"

BAD Example

  • If you repair tires in San Diego, but name your service "Auto service in San Diego", your service may not be displayed on the search results page to the people that are looking to "repair of tires in San Diego". It is better to place several services related to the car repair service cars with the exact name of the service, so that a person finds exactly what he is looking for, and what you offer.
  • If you sell a painting with roses, but in the name of your product you write only the word "Roses", your painting will not be found by those who are looking for a painting; at best, it will be shown to someone who is looking for roses. The right keyword is "painting of a roses" or even more accurate "oil painting with yellow roses in a vase". Search the word "Roses" on Google and see if you can find a painting.

Try it yourself! Search for your products or services on Google by the titles you use in your catalog and see what you will find. Check out all the titles of your services and items, and correct them with such phrases that most accurately describe what you are offering. The more accurate the title of your product, the easier it will be for someone to find exactly what you offer. Use the shortest, but accurate key phrases in the titles.
